What Type of Swimsuit is Best for Babies?

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF), and this indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin.
If you can find fabric with a UPF 50+ rating, then this will protect your baby’s delicate skin against 98% of the sun UV rays. Not all swimsuits offer this, and that is okay! Just make sure to apply plenty of suncream all over your little one’s body so that they are protected (this applies even if you are wearing UPF clothing!)
